Panmetry’s own method

We check official and independent data, examine meaningful discrepancies and establish the values used for conversion.

Your ingredient and your measure

The conversion accounts for the ingredient’s form and the capacity of your cup, glass or spoon.

Both directions, one tool

Grams to cups, spoons to grams and back again — switch direction without opening another calculator.

Precision starts with the details. And with Panmetry’s own method.

We cross-check official and independent data, examine meaningful discrepancies in detail and account for what affects the conversion:the type of ingredient, its form and your chosen kitchen measure.

Behind every Panmetry answer is a check of the data, not a blindly copied table. You get a result for your chosen ingredient and measure without having to compare reference guides yourself.

Liquid milk is the starting choice

The preset uses whole liquid cow’s milk. Choose the matching product before converting another form. Milk powder and condensed milk are separate products, not alternate names for this liquid selection.

Pour the volume or weigh the portion

Use cup fractions when the recipe starts with cups. If it gives 200 or 250 g of milk, switch direction to find the volume to pour. For cups to mL alone, no ingredient calculation is needed.

Questions about this conversion

Do I need this page for milk cups to milliliters?

The cups-to-mL converter handles that volume-only task directly. This page is useful when grams are involved.

Can I use the same selection for powdered milk?

Choose a milk-powder profile instead. The liquid-milk result describes a different form.
